San Diego Outdoor Bootcamp
Your first session is on us.
All-levels outdoor group training, done before the workday starts. We meet at San Diego parks and beaches, scale every movement to where you actually are, and get you home before 7. Show up once, free, and decide for yourself.
How it works
Group training that actually fits a normal life.
No membership maze, no intimidating gym floor. You pick a time, show up at the park, and a coach takes it from there. Here is what makes the mornings work.
-
Small outdoor groups
Sessions cap out small enough that a coach knows your name and watches your form. You train shoulder-to-shoulder with the same crew most mornings — that is what keeps people coming back.
-
Scalable for every level
Total beginner or returning to fitness after years off? Every movement has an easier and a harder version, and your coach hands you the right one. You are never the odd one out.
-
Coach-led, start to finish
No app barking at you, no guessing what to do next. A real coach runs the warm-up, the work, and the cool-down — and corrects you in person when something looks off.
-
Rain-or-shine locations
San Diego mornings are good, but when the marine layer turns to drizzle we move to covered spots at the same parks. Sessions run year-round. We will always post the call the night before.
Weekly schedule

Start with a free sessionThe workouts
Three kinds of work. Balanced across the week.
We rotate strength, conditioning, and recovery so you build something instead of just sweating. Here is the honest version of what each one is.
-
Strength
Mon · Wed · Fri
Squats, hinges, presses, and carries with kettlebells, sandbags, and your own bodyweight. We build real, usable strength with movements you can load progressively over weeks — not random circuits that leave you wrecked.
-
Conditioning / HIIT
Tue · Thu
Short, hard intervals that raise your heart rate and build your engine — sprints, sleds, and bodyweight pieces on the grass. Intensity is yours to set; we coach you to push the right amount, not to injury.
-
Mobility & recovery
Saturdays & on request
Slower sessions focused on the hips, shoulders, and ankles that get tight from desks and driving. Breathwork, stretching, and easy movement so you actually recover between the hard days. Honest answer: this is the part most people skip and most people need.
Community challenges
A monthly team challenge worth showing up for.
Each month we run a friendly, team-based challenge — think a shared push-up total, a combined distance goal, or a streak everyone chips into. It is built to pull the quiet regulars into the group and give the mornings a little stakes. No prizes you have to buy, no pressure to be the best. Just a reason to keep coming.
The current challenge board goes live with our first cohort.
Real names, real reps, no fakes. We are not going to populate a leaderboard with invented people — when the first crew starts, their numbers go here and not a moment sooner.
Your coaches
The people running your mornings.
Certified, in person, and on the grass with you. No fabricated transformation numbers — just two coaches who show up and do the work alongside the group.

I started Daybreak because the early-morning park crews I trained with kept me consistent in a way no gym membership ever did. I coach the way I want to be coached: clear cues, honest scaling, and no shame for showing up exactly where you are. You will see me at most 6am sessions with a thermos and a clipboard.

I came to coaching after years of figuring out my own training around a desk job and a bad back. I run most of our conditioning and mobility work, and I am the person who will quietly hand you the easier option before you ask. My goal is simple: get you stronger without getting you hurt.
