Therapy & counseling · California

Therapy that fits your life.

In-person in San Diego and telehealth across California — at a pace that has room for whatever you bring.

Our approach

Evidence-based, and tailored to you.

We draw on a few well-studied approaches and match them to what you actually need — not the other way around. Here is what that can look like in practice.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

A structured, present-focused approach that looks at how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors connect — and where small, practical changes can make the day a little easier.

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Less about arguing with difficult feelings and more about making room for them, clarifying what matters to you, and taking steps in that direction.

  • EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, used to help the nervous system work through distressing memories. Offered by clinicians trained in the approach.

  • Mindfulness-based practice

Simple attention and grounding skills woven into sessions, helping you notice what is happening in the moment without being swept away by it.

Who we work with

You don't need a diagnosis to start.

Most people come in because something feels off and they would like a thoughtful person to think it through with. These are some of the things we commonly help with.

  • Anxiety

Worry that loops, restlessness, panic, or a body that stays on alert. We work on understanding the patterns and finding steadier ground.

  • Burnout & stress

When work, caregiving, or just keeping up has worn you thin. Space to slow down, set limits, and rebuild some capacity.

  • Grief & loss

Loss of a person, a relationship, a role, or a future you expected. Grief does not move on a schedule, and you do not have to carry it alone.

  • Life transitions

A move, a new chapter, a relationship ending, a career shift. The in-between can be disorienting; therapy can be a place to find footing.

  • Couples

For partners who want to communicate more honestly, repair after conflict, or decide together what comes next.

Anxiety · Couples · Life transitions

I came to this work because I believe people change most in relationships where they feel genuinely understood. In sessions I tend to be warm, curious, and direct — I will ask questions, but I will not rush you. I draw mainly on CBT and ACT, and I work with both individuals and couples. My aim is to help you feel a little more like yourself again, at a pace that is actually sustainable.

Grief & loss · Burnout · Trauma

My background is in community and hospital settings, where I worked with people moving through grief, burnout, and the aftermath of hard experiences. I am trained in EMDR and lean on mindfulness-based practices to help the nervous system settle. I try to make therapy feel less clinical and more human — a steady, low-pressure place to do the work at whatever pace fits you.

On testimonials

You won't find client stories here.

We don't publish client testimonials.

Protecting your privacy matters more than marketing. What happens in therapy stays between you and your therapist — and we'd rather earn your trust in the room than borrow someone else's words.
