The membership
What your membership includes.
One flat monthly membership covers your primary care relationship — the access, the time, and the coordination. No copays at the visit, no surprise per-visit fees for the care described below.

Same-day or next-day visits
When you are sick or worried, you are seen quickly — most often the same day, almost always by the next. No waiting weeks for an opening that no longer fits the problem.

30 to 60 minute appointments
Visits are scheduled with real time built in, so we can talk through what is actually going on rather than rushing to the next room. Complex concerns get the attention they require.

Direct phone and text access
You have your physician’s direct line. Call or text with a question between visits and reach the doctor who knows you — not a phone tree, not a stranger covering a call list.

Annual comprehensive physical
Each year includes an unhurried head-to-toe physical and a forward-looking plan — screenings, risk factors, goals — reviewed together rather than handed to you on a printout at the door.

Care coordination and referrals
When you need a specialist, imaging, or a procedure, we coordinate it — finding the right person, sending records ahead, and following up so nothing falls through the cracks.

Wholesale labs and medications
Common lab work and many generic medications are available at transparent wholesale or near-wholesale pricing, passed through without markup. You see the cost before anything is ordered.

Membership is not insurance. Meridian covers your primary care relationship — it does not pay for hospital stays, surgery, emergency care, or most specialist visits. Keep a health plan (or a high-deductible plan paired with this membership) for those needs.

After years in a high-volume practice where I cared deeply but had fifteen minutes and a full waiting room, I opened Meridian to practice medicine the way I always believed it should work: a small panel, real time with each member, and a phone that I actually answer. Membership is capped on purpose, because the access I am promising only works if the panel stays small.
